Landscape and fine art photographer
I have been photographing in some form or another since 1999 after I purchased my first digital camera to record the early years of my new born daughter. I quickly realised that landscape photography was something I very much enjoyed and found it to be a great way to unwind after a stressful day at work. Fast forward some years and my interest continued to grow to the extent that I decided I wanted photography to play a bigger part in my life. I was fortunate to be asked to become an ambassador with Sigma UK primarily and I have been up until the present day. I photograph using Sigma cameras and lenses and am a self confessed Foveon sensor fanatic and have been since my first Foveon based camera the Sigma SD9 which I purchased in 2004. I'm also fortunate to be involved with some other wonderful brands such as Kase Filters, FLM and Canson-Infinity who all have supported me over the years. I specialise in square format landscape photography which is my preferred aspect ratio and recently decided to also take up medium format film to use alongside my digital gear. I use a Rolleicord VB as my film camera and have grown to love Ilford HP5+ and FP4+ in recent months although I'm still learning film. I annually run workshops with Sigma UK and especially around the South West of the England where we run Sigma Masterclass one day workshops which have become very successful. It's a great opportunity to meet up in a small group of no more than five with the opportunity to try out Sigma gear with myself and a Sigma representative in the great outdoors for a day.
