Jon Gill has been using mobile devices for shooting and editing video since 2011. In 2018 directed, wrote and produced his first feature length documentary shot and edited (in iMovie) entirely on the same iPad.

In 2019 he won “Best Made On Mobile” at FiLMiCFest and has gone on to work full-time as a content designer, creator, consultant and trainer working with small businesses through to international organisations; training business owners, comms teams and people of all ages to tell their story using the most convenient movie studio on the planet.

His most recent film, in association with Macmillan Cancer Support – “A Good Thing To Do: Andrew Crummy’s Cancer Tapestry” – launched on World Cancer Day 2024 and is available for a limited time on YouTube.
